“Healthier Together Pierce-St. Croix County Coalition was selected to participate in the Healthy Wisconsin Leadership Institute Institute’s Community Teams Program, a year-long leadership training program that helps prepare local residents to address their communities’ most pressing health concerns. The group plans to work on access to healthy foods.

What are we up to?
Currently, St. Croix County and Pierce County FoodWise is working with community partners to help families and individuals with limited resources choose healthful diets, purchase and prepare healthful food and handle it safely, and become more food secure by spending their food dollars wisely.
